Altar & Window in SpringtimeRector

We are in a time of transition and are in search of new clergy. Our Discernment Committee is working through the process of calling a new rector to St. Philip’s, beginning with a Parish Profile that has been shaped by input from our members. Now that our Parish Profile has been completed, we are ready to receive names. See our Rector Search/Parish Profile.  The typical time needed to find a new Rector is 12-18 months, which would take us to the last half of 2023. Until a new Rector is called to St. Philip’s, our Sunday services are conducted by visiting priests. If a priest is not available, a lay-led service such as ante-communion or morning prayer are offered.

Thank you for your prayers and patience during this time of transition.

Vestry

The Vestry is our primary leadership board of the parish who oversee the finances, programs, spiritual health, and planning for our common life. It consists of six – fifteen members of the parish who are elected by Annual Meeting to serve a three-year term. Each year at our Annual Meeting, members rotate off and more are elected by the body. The Vestry elects Junior and Senior Wardens, a Treasurer, and a Clerk immediately following the Annual Meeting.

Qualifications for who is eligible can be found in our Parish By-Laws.
