About St. Philip’s Episcopal Church
St. Philip’s is a small church steeped in the Episcopal tradition through our prayers, style of worship, and order of our common life. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and Christian traditions, are young and old, gay and straight, and hold varied political leanings. Our common place is around God’s table. We strive to practice eucharista, the ancient understanding of living a life of gratitude for all that God has given, which is why our whole liturgy builds up to the sacrament of communion. We believe that through the common, everyday elements of bread, wine, water, and oil, we can experience grace in our hearts and receive solace and strength to love and serve God with gladness and singleness of heart.
Being with a community of believers inspires us, nurtures us, encourages us, and comforts us. We invite you to join us at 10:00 every Sunday morning. We welcome all God’s people.
